The Global Coalition for an Inclusive AI is led by two pioneering organizations—Missions Publiques and the Stanford Deliberative Democracy Lab—who bring decades of experience in democratic innovation and large-scale deliberative processes.

The Deliberative Democracy Lab, housed within the Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law at Stanford University, is devoted to research about democracy and public opinion obtained through Deliberative Polling

Missions Publiques

Missions Publiques is a team working on inventing new models of shared governance for better decisions. Since 1998, we have initiated and/or organized over 1,300 deliberative dialogues in 125 countries.

Stanford DDL

Stanfords’ DDL has deployed over 150 Deliberative poll in 50+ countries of the world. The last global process was on collaboration with Meta on the Topic of AI (Community Forum).

Missions Publiques

Missions Publiques has deployed over 1300 deliberative processes in 125+ countries. Here are a few relevant examples:

We, the internet”, a global dialogue on the Future of the Internet with 6500+ participants in 77 countries (2019). The coalition was made of Governments (Germany, Swiss), IGOs (UNESCO, CoE, UN Sec Gen, EU Comm), NGOs (World Economic Forum, ISOC, WWW Foundation, Wikimedia), and the private sector (Google, Facebook, Mozilla).
